This is my new favorite spot.
Their food is delicious. Excellent quality. Knowledgeable preparation. Great ambiance and stellar staff.
Their prices are very good too.
They have a wonderful happy hour where you can enjoy their pizza for $6.00.
At lunch time for $10.00 you can eat a pizza, salad and a soda, tea or lemonade.
They have a Full bar and they are a great spot for a family meal, a celebration or a romantic night. You can slide into a table or up to the classy bar and people watch, listen to music, eat well and be totally happy dining solo.
I love this restaurant:)
There is live music 3 nights a week and one tv to catch the games.
There is a high end projection screen that plays old black and white films as well as an outdoor patio with heaters. The indoor space is warm and inviting with a view of their brick pizza oven.
You can watch the food creations and the exquisite smells of fresh spices and herbs is a perfect add to your dining experience.
The owner, Leighton, has created an excellent neighborhood dine in or carry out authentic pizza experience. Their chefs make home made crusts, even gluten free is superb, as well as their sauces, sausages, meatballs and more. Their salads are fresh and outstanding.
Their vegan cheese alternative is wonderfully creamy.
Their red sauce is truly my favorite any where.
I also appreciate how warm and inviting the entire staff are.
MidiCi's goes the extra mile and then some.
Thank you for this Leighton.
I have been gluten free for 27 years and it is outstanding to have excellent pizza and food that meats my dietary needs while being delicious and a very warm and fun venue. -

I am obsessed with everything about Midici in Sherman Oaks. Amazing food, value, service so when I saw the Marina location I was super excited. First off having servers already ruined what I loved about the Sherman oaks location and the prices were higher too. So I'm thinking my usual 12$ pizza is going to cost me an extra $8 because of hiked price and tip. Then our server took our order and we asked for a pizza with half meat and half olives. I eat meat and hate olives but my sister is a vegetarian who likes Olives. The pizza came with all the toppings everywhere and we had a movie to catch so no time to wait another 25 minutes for another pizza. So we rearranged the toppings and ate. He comes back with the bill and says he removed my 1 beverage charge for the inconvenience and as he hands us the bill he takes my plate so fast I barely noticed when I went to reach for my last few bites of my overly priced messy pizza I had to rearrange.... it was gone. He didn't even give me the chance to finish my food. I left hungry.
Avoid this location at all costs, it lacks all the aspects that makes MidiCi (sherman oaks) great. Horrible service at the Marina Del Ray location. -

I was SO excited for MidiCi to open in the Marina. For the last couple of years, I've been making special trips to Sherman Oaks and Century City because I love their pizza and salads. But I have to say, I've tried this location twice, and I'm disappointed.
First of all, it feels really expensive. I don't know if the pricing is different, but in Sherman Oaks, I was always like "Oh, this is such a cheap and yummy dinner!" and here, I'm like "Wait, what? How much?"
And while the pizza is tasty, I don't know...there's just something different about it vs. the other locations. I'm not quite so excited about MidiCi anymore. Which is depressing.
They do have a happy hour, which I've been meaning to try, but it's at such a ridiculously early hour I'm not sure I'll ever get there in time. -

The gluten free pizza is really good. Also the wings are delicious too. Service was quite slow. We came on a Sunday afternoon. Only one waiter for the whole place. So slow we had to get up to get his attention. The waiter even ignored us several times trying to get his attention. The bathrooms were really clean which is a plus.

Wow! So good and great customer service by one of the owners, Jesse! We had a White Pizza, delicious, and the Italian Salad. Not to mention the Nutella Calzone. Definitely worth trying if you haven't already. They also have Gluten Free and Vegan cheese which is my preference. I will certainly be back soon! 5 Stars!! This is in the Sherman Oaks location. No idea why it's showing in the Marina. I'm sure that's just as good too :)
